This trip has been amazing! We've made friends from around the world. We had a barbecue pool party on the first night and met some girl scouts from New York. We met a Vex hero named Daniella Rodriguez, who made a robotic arm that uses brain waves to move. She did this for her middle school science fair project. She proved the guys that she worked with wrong, that girls can do anything that boys can do. She took her passion for robotics and her love for her mother, who has muscular sclerosis, to make this machine. We also met some very cool teams from Mexico and Columbia. They know how to have fun! We shared our information with our new friends. During the competition we won the Inspire Award. We inspired the other teams in Vex IQ with our story.
